This summer, we are combining VBS and Music Camp into one thrilling, gospel-centered week, with our traditional VBS in the morning along with the option for an extended day in the afternoon Music Camp, with included lunch. Participation in morning VBS is required for participation in afternoon Music Camp as campers prep for the "Illumination Station" musical to be presented to family and friends on Friday, July 17 (time TBD).

MORNING VBS (completed Kindergarten - 6th Grade): No cost

EXTENDED AFTERNOON MUSIC CAMP (completed 1st - 6th Grade): $50.00

Notifications

1. First Baptist Church Alexandria (FBCA) VBS/Music Camp/Children's Ministry will notify the parent/legal guardian or alternate contact whenever this child becomes ill. The parent/legal guardian or alternate contact agrees to pick the child up as soon as possible after notification.
2. Parent/Legal Guardian agrees to inform FBCA VBS/Music Camp/Children's Ministry within 24 hours (or the next business day) if a child or any member of the household has developed a reportable communicable disease (e.g. COVID-19, flu, strep throat, chicken pox, head lice, pink eye, etc.).

Injury Release

In consideration of my child's participation in the First Baptist Church of Alexandria's Vacation Bible School and Music Camp Program, I hereby release, to the fullest extent allowable by law, First Baptist Church of Alexandria, its employees and volunteers ("releasees") from liability for any accident or injury to my child so long as such injury is not the result of gross negligence or willful actions/omissions of the releasees.

Consent

I, the parent/legal guardian of the above-named child do hereby authorize First Baptist Church of Alexandria's VBS/Music Camp/Children's Ministry to provide or arrange for the provision of first aid or emergency treatment to my child in the event of any accident, injury, or illness and give permission for additional medical attention should the need arise. I further consent to the treatment of minor injuries and illness, or treatment in the case of a medical emergency, by any member of the medical staff and licensed emergency room staff of any licensed general hospital. It is understood that this authorization is given in advance of any specific diagnosis or treatment and given to provide authority and power to render care to which the aforementioned medical provider(s) in the exercise of their best judgement may deem advisable. Efforts shall be made to contact the undersigned prior to rendering treatment, but treatment will not be withheld if the undersigned cannot be reached. This authorization remains in effect from July 13, 2026 - July 17, 2026.

Photos and Video Release

During the 2026 "Illumination Station" Vacation Bible School Program at First Baptist Church of Alexandria, staff and volunteers will take photographs of the children to use for art projects, the Morning Rally video, classroom decor, and church publicity.

Children are not registered for our full day program unless they have completed 1st - 6th grade during the 2025/2026 school year and payment is complete.
